Postol was game until he got tagged and knew if he did anything but keep himself out of trouble it would be curtains ...some great fights to look forward to from Crawford been impressed for a few years now and will for many more looking at this performance.

Lol Crawford got me bored. I am a fan of slick boxing, but I was bored. Really bored, I switched it to UFC as well. Crawford better learn that people who fight like Floyd from now on, will no longer hold any weight to being watched. Just because he's good doesn't mean he will put asses in seats. That being said, I hope Pacquiao doesn't fight him, I don't need to see a 38 year old legend trying to prove to a 28 year old kid that he's better. We know mannys a legend, TBUD should be focused on people below manny to build his own resume. I hope after the way his coach treated roach and manny that they don't land that fight TBH, such disrespect to the last of the PPV boxing stars and only 8 division champ.

It's also textbook fighting style against excessive clinchers. We hardly saw any clinches because Crawford wouldn't let him do it. I said in another thread, trainers should use this fight tape to train their fighters whenever they are preparing to fight a clincher. This is how it's done. If he would have "stood his ground" the entire fight, it would have been nonstop clinch from Postol.
As boring as it was Fury/Klitschko was another fight that demonstrated how to deal with a clincher.

It wasn't Crawford who was boring, it was Postol. What did Postol do at all last night? If he's not good enough to land a significant punch all night and keep failing at the same thing over and over and not make any adjustments whatsoever, that's on him. All of the entertainment came from Crawford - he was the one that landed the significant shots, he was the one that knocked Postol down and had him stumbling all over the ring.

Anyways, as they say styles make fights. Crawford has had very entertaining fights before, Postol just isn't one of those guys.

Yep that's another good example. Although if I were a trainer I'd point out Fury could have done more offensively, there were a lot of opportunities open but he didn't take them. Comparing the two fights, Crawford was much, much more busy than Fury.

But yeah it's a great example. It was eye opening to see how awful Wlad is once you remove his ability to clinch. He basically has no game without relying on clinching!

This is another example of such delusion from Americans. So disturbing, that it's creepy and sinister.

He's right. Crawford was pure boxing, but not running, Postol was fighting like a *****. I like the guy but it's the truth, he was deadly afraid of getting hit back and the caution killed his output and his variety. When he would finally throw he'd sht his pants thinking about the counters and just look for a clinch.

Got completely outcalled and dominated since he got kd'd.

He showed some courage in the 12th, but I found it funny when Crawford said "you finally wanna fight then?" and started coming forward and Postol started running again.

I still like Postol, not to sht on him but he was scared.
