beating the unanimous #2 in your division in such dominant fashion is a big deal, especially in today's boxing. i suspect loma and rigo are the actual #1 and #2 in terms of raw ability, but they each need a big fight ASAP to cement that status

Ward hasn't done anything in years. Crawford became linear champion in 2 divisions during that time.

I like Ward and he's a great fighter but what you said is completely correct. We can't be judging fighters based on wins they had years ago.
