So basically Postol was the easier fight. But Crawford ran all night. Yeah that makes sense to a 5 year old. Keep fooling yourself.

People really, REALLY forgot about Gamboa.

I've seen him dismissed on this site time and time again after losing to Crawford. Gamboa looked like he was going to set everything on fire in the lower weight classes- but then he got caught up in all the 50 cent/Floyd Mayweather drama and ended up with a hapless, inexperienced promoter who didn't know what he was doing (50 Cent).

Crawford struggled with him because Gamboa was probably twice as fast as Crawford and immensely talented. There was a fair bit of luck involved as far as Crawford getting through those early rounds in that fight, Gamboa was lighting him up early, but he never was able to put Crawford into a panic and seemingly showed too much of his hand too soon.

It's a kind of shame the last few years have worked out the way they have for Gamboa. He's a tremendous fighter. I don't think we've seen the last of him, hopefully his life and his career can smooth out some.

So in other words GGG getting a win over Kell Brook could exactly be compared to this.
