I'm not sure how you can surmise the company's courage/commitment to "make fights for the fans" based on Canelo's latest yammering since it carries no weight whatsoever following his failure to follow through on his nationally televised proclamation to fight GGG (with Golovkin and Abel Sanchez standing in the ring after the Khan fight).

Anyway, I understand GBP is protecting its cash cow. But let's not sugarcoat it. A pig with lipstick is still a pig.

      LOL
"Once my body tells me I'm ready to move up"

I like how he has a speaking relationship with his body.

Head: "Hey body, how about now?"

Body: "Not yet head, still not ready, still trying to grow"

Head: "oh ok cool, no rush or anything take you're time. I was just wondering because my fans are making fun of me is all"

Body: "Head, you need to stop worrying about "fans", look at me, look how sexy this pale beast is"

Head: "that's true, you're right as always Body, I don't know where I'd be with out you. Let's have a yank"

But his team have done the right thing in delaying this as long as they can because this fight will most likely change the trajectory of his career

Canelos getting backed into a corner, he can't stay at 154 for too long because there's no $ fights for him and don't like his odds against Andrade, Lara , Charlo's or J-Roc and the only $ fight at MW is GGG

It'll get delayed until May /Sept 2017 but it'll happen
He;s shown he has big balls? When has he ever got in the ring with a good fighter who could hurt?

Probably after he won the lineal middleweight title and the WBC middleweight belt and after agreeing to fight Golovkin after his extension. Yep, that would have been a perfect time. I know it's craaaaazy that fans actually expected him to fight Golovkin after he agreed to fight Golovkin! Madness I say!

He could have avoided all of this if he would have simply dropped the belt after beating Cotto . Instead he made a deal with Golovkin to have an extension and then fight. Instead he went back on his word and wasted everyone's time.

What wouldn't make any sense is going down to 154 only to fight at 160 immediately after, which is exactly what they admit they are planning to do. The good old 'go down to go up' strategy. Wait, that isn't a strategy, they made it up!

You really have a way of showing that you want to fight him. What are you waiting for? Are you waiting for GGG to show a sign of a cracked chin or are you waiting for him to get old enough, that way it looks like an even fight on your eyes? Smh

The only reason you postpone such a fight is to prepare for the eventual loss that is certain to follow. Alvarez will maximize his earnings before tasting his second defeat and first knockout loss. GGG is for real.
