Don King made Mayorga a lot of money. He probably shortchanged him too. But no other promoter would've been able to make Mayorga a 1/3 per fight of what King paid him. King probably stole $100k per fight. Mayorga was probably getting $600k per fight. With any other promoter he'd be making less than what King stole I'd rather a promoter steal 100k and im making 600k than an honest promoter paying me 50k
