Alexander Dimitrenko being lined up for Parker fight

Looks like Parker's next fight is already being penciled in - October this year. Stuff.co.nz, via an interview with DUCO head Dean Lonergan, has reported this alongside speculation it could be against Dimitrenko - with Lonergan playing coy and discussing Dimitrenko's imposing stature with reporters.

Thoughts?

Would be a good fight to look forward to. Certainly a step-up from Haumono - who, after the highs of the Takam fight, was always going to be considered a step back.

Would be nice to see this fight come together.

Certainly Dimitrenko has more relatable physique and dimensions to Joshua than anyone else Parker has fought, will be a better tune-up than some other past-it Oceania fighter.

They'd need to pay Dimitrenko well before he'd be willing to go to New Zealand.

I see what they are they are thinking with him having similar dimensions to joshua, but they don't fight similar at all. Then again who do you get to emulate joshua?
