I'd prefer the 147 titlists fought each other. I'm not mad at the thought of Cotto/Thurman though.

Both would be dumb fights I don't want anything messing up a Garcia-Thurman fight for next year.

i think rios would do better than that. he's not gonna win but wont go past 3 rounds? come on now. cotto is not that type of fighter at this point. and plus who can rios fight now with a name like cotto? this would have been a good opportunity and a good way to get a nice check. plus its not like rios is a top contender at this point. he's pretty much done. might as well get the most that you can.

Cotto/Thurman is a close fight. Yes Cotto is shopworn but his veteran ways could prove to be too much for the young One Time, at the same time Keith's power and speed could be too much to handle for the old Miguel.

Cotto/Garcia is an easy W on paper for Miguel but this is boxing, anyone has a chance...can Garcia's left hook hurt Cotto?

It makes sense to stage either fights in Orlando, Miguel's & Danny's ****sexual tendencies would make a great drama storyline about the infamous clu shootong and stuff.

Thurman has a mandatory anyway and Danny isn't moving up to fight cotto.

I agree, and hence, the fight won't happen...even though it'd be huge, with thurman being from clearwater, and the large Puerto Rican population in orlando.

But thurman barely beat shawn porter, for goodness sakes...he definitely isn't stopping cotto, and i favor cotto in a 12 round fight. Thurmans good but lets not make him more than he is.
