The are both great punchers but Kovalev is much bigger naturally so he punches somewhat harder. Kovalev apparently is just able to make 175 with little room to spare. GGG make 160 easily. Kovalev has at least 15 more pounds of muscle weight to put in his punches so he hits harder. Both boxers knock out damn near everybody they fight in their respective weight classes.
