Canelo couldn't buy respect much less earn it with a Liam Smith win. He's a coward and disgraced Mexico and his fans. F that p uto!

Why can't they do this when Lara is tweeting GG's name? Why is the media not interested in GG camp's response? Why can't they ask Lara whether he instructed his team to go out and work for the GG fight, and not just tweet?
It's also an easy out for Canelo. But I do think a rematch is warranted. Instead of taking a tough belt holder at 154 for his return, he's fighting the weakest belt-holder.
Network problems aside, it's still pretty weak IMHO......
GGG would smash Lara. Canelo doesn't know how to cut a ring or he'd have won quite handily. Lara was able to make it close because despite being outweighed and outmuscled, Canelo has cement feet and isn't a great pressure fighter. Golovking is seek and destroy, controls space nearly as good as Mayweather, and would cut off Lara quickly and do real damage. If Canelo was able to land an equal number of punches with both throwing about 35 per round, GGG, throwing closer to 60 and being much closer in range, would really put it on Lara. He's great defensively. But not strong enough. Angulo dropped him. Golovking knocks him out cold.
And I'm willing to bet that no real offer was sent to Golovkin's people from Lara. It's a headache for them. If Lara really wanted that fight, he'd move up. He's a little thin for 160........but I'd like to see it if he ever does move up. But there's a reason he's hasn't......the money left for him at this point is fellow PBC/Showtime fighters including the Charlo's, Andrade, J-Rock, etc.
Not sure how he'd handle someone like Jacobs or Quillen, let alone GGG. But if he wanted to know, he could find out by trying Jacobs first.....if he beat him, he could get the fight. Until he does something like that, he's just making noise.........
But this was a GREAT QUOTE!! Loved that he tagged them both and what are they really gonna say back??
