Both Paulie and Broner have moved up. Paulie is a two division titlist. Broner is a four division titlist. Both were paper champions. And in Broner's case, its kinda disgusting and disrespectful to those before him that politricks and BSery allowed him to win belts in four divisions. That said, GGG has no room to criticize either guy. Whether they were paper champs or not. Both showed a willingness to move up in weight. Which is something GGG is reluctant to do for whatever reasons.

On a sidenote. I've said it several times. If Broner was discipled enough to not gain a lotta weight between fights. He could have easily stayed at lightweight. And if he had done the GGG (I wanna unify all the belts), he could maybe still be undefeated. And would probably be viewed as a top P4P fighter.

Oh please, Golovkin was given the vacant WBA belt for beating Milton Nunez, a guy famous for constantly getting knocked out in 1 round.

Broner didn't do anything Manny never did.

he would have fought froch and chavez jr at 168, yet wanted Ward( a bigger risk) at a catchweight

He wouldnt fight canelo at 155 (a bigger risk) but he was willing to fight a former lightweight at 154
