If you watch De La Hoya in the press and interviews he's not the same. Mayorga wants this win 100 times more than de la hoya. Oscar just doesn't have the eye of the tiger anymore.

I thought Oscar was wearing body armor when he fought Vargas. And this nullified Vargas's body attack, which he is very good at.

I think DLH has the edge in this fight by a good margin on account of his boxing skills and experience with pressure fighters, but it is winnable by Mayorga, it is clearly not a walk in the park for DLH. He's going to have to come in very focused to win this.
