Considering the fight is over a month away he looks just fine. Do you guys expect fighters to be in full 100% fighting shape 5 weeks before the fight even takes place or what?
Still a garbage mismatch fight though.
Why doesn't Canelo defend his 160 lb title at 160 lbs?
I have no idea why I'm just saying if he can make 154 easily why don't he go down to 155 for the biggest fight of his career
Fat? he looks fit and in shape, at 147 he was like 5 percent body fat which isn't healthy to be that low, he is fighting at a weight where he doesn't have to cut down from the 170s anymore
Im cringing dude you called this dude fat but I bet you either a super scrawny dude or a guy with a big beer gut who isnt as in shape as Brook.
You must think those curvy sexy female models with huge butt and **** are fat too and love those skinny no hip females weighing 95pounds.
There are a lot of morons on this site. So it's not surprising.
isnt he in the low 180s there? Considering hes so far out and has a four pack id say hes on track
He doesnt need to be shredded at 160lbs, he just needs to be in shape.
Look at GGG against Wade, he was soft around the midsection. GGG is not a big MW and could probably make JMW.
I doubt that he's anywhere near 180 in the photo; the fact that he's shredded when he's down to 147, compared to the photo, I'd imagine that he's high/mid 160s in the photo.
Golovkin showed up at the press conference likely at a fight fit 170lbs; if Golovkin could so easily make JMW, he wouldn't have turned punk when Alvarez and his camp talked of the fight only ever being considered at 155lbs.
He's full and in camp, still more than a month to go, i don't see nothing wrong... Brook walks around fairly heavy like many MWs, this time he doesn't have to drain himself but can train at his natural weight for the entire camp...
hilarious to see you try to call Kell Brook a middleweight

What he looks like, imo, isn't the issue; the fight is 5 weeks away, Brook is as big as he's going to get, he's clearly not in prime fight shape (ignoring the fact that he won't have to worry about cutting weight this camp), and he only looks like he weighs in the mid/high 160s.
The moment he starts grinding in camp, whatever bloat he has left is going to fall off of his body; come the weigh-in, Brook is likely to step on the scale at 157/158 and walk into the ring at the same 157/158. By rule almost, Golovkin is going to step on the scale, right at 160lbs, before walking into the ring at a hydrated 168/169.
Alvarez fought the last 5 years at 154lbs, and only ever fought at 155 as the highest weight, before now returning to 154lbs. get over it.
The blue shorts has Brook, likely on weight at 147 to fight; the photo on the right is Brook, 5 weeks away from a fight.
Folks know what it is; 147 after the dry out, 156/157 once he's got his fluids in him and is fighting fight, and Brook is likely in the high 160s in the photo (with another 3-5 hard weeks of camp left before he'd have to lock in to cutting the water weight).
Golovkin is fighting fit at 170lbs; Brook is fighting fit at 156/157.

I don't care if Alvarez wants to fight at 154lbs. But he has no business holding a 160lb title, defending a 160lb title, or calling out other guys with 160lb titles if he's not willing to fight at 160lbs.
Accusing a 160lb fighter of ducking because he wants to defend his title at 160lbs is disgraceful. That mentality is reserved for fanboys.
