I mean you can keep posting this then jump on your Alts and agree with yourself but it is not going to change anything. Bundu was not by "CHOICE" it was what the IBF Orders and since Spence Jr wants his shot at that IBF title yes of course he is going to fight whoever the IBF put in front of him. Never minding the fact that Lamont Peterson, Jeff Horne and Sammy Vazquez all turned down a fight with Spence Jr after Ponomarev couldn't go because of Injury. So yes he is fighting Bundu because on his Quest to become IBF Welterweight Champion that is what the IBF Ordered. He take care of that he gets his shot, now will it be vs Kell Brook, that is another question but he has to take care of yes a 41 year old fighter the only one that had the Balls to step in with Spence Jr!
Just realized Spence is fighting a 41 year 1:100 underdog, Rod Salka next?

surely got to be someone better than bundu out there, or would like to think so anyway lol. Just think its time to let him off the leash, think hes ready to mix it with the top guys, way he beat algieri shows he doesnt need to be pissing about at fringe world level.Comment

You have no idea what you're talking about.
This fight has nothing to do with Spence's team wanting to develop Spence or give him rounds, or prepare him for Thurman and Porter, in fact, it has nothing to do with Spence's team whatsoever.
This fight was ordered by the IBF, Spence and his team have no choice in the matter.
Also, Thurman will never fight Spence unless forced to, he has already made it clear, acting like he's a certified HOF already even though, before the Porter fight, there was literally nothing different between his resume and Spence's.
Simple fact, Spence called out Brook, Brook tried to duck, and the IBF called for a title eliminator to determine Brook's next Mandatory, and six/seven guys ranked above Bundu in the IBF rankings blatantly ducked, forcing Spence to ultimately fight Bundu.
so spence team isn't trying to develop a potential pound for pounder, or position him to be ready for the eventual fights against top welterweights? right!. this IBF eliminator is really all they care about!
spence is still being developed. he really ahdn't looked like the full package until the algieri fight. he's only been 72 rounds as a pro, ffs.Last edited by New England; 07-20-2016, 02:23 PM.Comment

His style is awkward, he is durable and he will give spence a look he has never seen before. People get too caught up in resume **** when it means little to someone in Spence's position. The goal is to get the kid the kind of expirience he needs to be a long term champion. That means getting him in there with as many different styles as possible against guys that show up to win. Now I will say he should of been making these types of fights 5 or 6 bouts ago, instead of fighting guys tailor made for him to destroy because they were paid victims, but it is what it is.Comment

TS are you intentionally being ignorant?
This is a eliminator to fight Brook
If he wants that IBF title he will have to fight who the IBF mandates
Also Spence is coming along nicely, this fight may show us the difference between him and Thurman.
Good barometer fightLast edited by FrankieBruno; 07-20-2016, 02:26 PM.Comment

I don't blame spence, the IBF are to blame they are by FAR the worst sanctioning body.
My point is people are defending this while blaming other IBF mandatories which IS double standards.Comment

No it isnt enough for me lol, the belt will probably be vacant after he wins the eliminator with brook going to 160 (probably go to 154 after) So many belts around today that really, who cares if hes 'world champ'? , shows how ****ing **** that belt is aswell with brook defending agaisnt fun time gavin, jojo dan, kevin bizeir, and 42 year old bundu being in an eliminator, the belts worth **** all.
Hopefully Kell does the right thing and faces Spence..it'd be a shame to see Brook duck his first legit mando
In terms of potential opponents for the winner of Brook/Spence, they will have to defend against Lemont Peterson more than likley
If Spence wins he can press for that Thurman fight. Keith has already said he will face Spence when he proves himself, a title and win over Brook and Peterson is proof enough.
Spence can also face Porter....
A lot of options open up for him if he has that title...but he will have to get past Brook first and thats not an easy taskLast edited by FrankieBruno; 07-20-2016, 02:36 PM.Comment
