Comments Thread For: Canelo Says Billy Joe Saunders Possible For December, at 160
Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (47-1-1, 33KOs) has confirmed the possibility of facing WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders (23-0, 12KOs), at 160-pounds, on a date in December.
So you go to 154 to build yourself up to 160??i dont get it
Let me explain it to you. It is a medical condition call spinelessita. It is a condition in which a boxer uses mind games and sleight of hand tricks to deceptively convince boxing fans that he is fearless and wants to fight the best opponents available.
It is a condition shared by Canelo Alvarez, Gennady Golovkin, Deontay Wilder and Adonis Stevenson. For example, Canelo wants to fight at 160. He just doesn't want to fight Golovkin. So, he fights the weakest opponents he can get while continuing to talk s...t about how bad Golovkin is and how he (Canelo) wants to fight the best opponents. It is similar to the situation in which Golovkin was willing to go to 168 to fight Chavez Jr. or Froch, but not Andre Ward. Yet, a the same time, Golovkin was calling out a guy who started and spent half his career at 130 (Mayweather).
