As far as his legacy? He will be remembered for taking tough fights when most high earners didn't wanna fight him. As a guy who would face whoever, a person who waited his turn so that he could finally dictate boxing like others before him and then get little to no credit no matter who he faced, even if said guys he was ducking ended up losing steam career wise themselves.

Ability? Had a wide array of moves that he could use at will like the check hook, pull counter or leaping left hook...how great he was at operating up close and from far away. He was the quintessential perfect boxer. The only knock is he was far past his prime once the masses paid attention to him. All in all, what people need in a boxer. Wont be appreciated well beyond his old years.
