Crawford ain't all that physical and he doesn't fight on the inside, I don't see much holding in this fight.

I guess I grew up watching a tougher breed of fighter. I hope this is a great fight. I like both guys....well, except Crawford is sounding like a ***** now. Explain how Postol's clinching and elbowing is different from Hopkins and Mayweather.Comment

So when Ward, Mayweather, and Klitschko fight dangerous opponents, they're allowed to hold all night to shut it down and get the win, but now that it's Postol against Crawford, they get to make this a story in order to shut down Postol's holding?
Just be consistent man. Refs should pay more attention to holding although they never do, but they shouldn't give special treatment to fighters all of a sudden because they're in a difficult fight and they ask for it. How many times were refs warned about Floyd or Ward's holding and they did absolutely nothing? And yet something tells me Postol is already starting this fight down a round in addition to not being able to fight his strategy freely the way he did against Mathysse, and the way those other fighters do in their fights.Last edited by Boxing Logic; 07-19-2016, 11:39 PM.Comment

C'mon now, enough of the 'but he said so and so'. That's grade school shiiiii right there, friend. I too am looking forward to a great fight, but no it isn't being a b1tch or puzzy to bring up what Crawford said. Win or lose the fight... following the rules. No low blows, no elbows, not rabbit punches etc. And if it's a boxer who can't win without breaking the rules, they just need to get out of the sport. No excuses.Comment

pistol needs his clinching. if his holding is thrown out of the fight he gets steam rolled.
he's a fighter that needs his holding........it tires and frustrates the opponent and then he can open up with shots after their weak.
we have always had dirty boxers in boxing........but i won't blame crawford for removing the holding.Comment

Postol was warned about the holding, stopped, and proceeded to put Matthysse down for the 10 count.
It's really ridiculous how people still pretend he held his way through that fight. He stopped when he was warned for it. What more can you ask?Comment

Grade school shiii is crying to the ref before the fight, in my opinion. You failed to explain what is different between Hopkins and Mayweather's clinching and elbowing and Postol's. Ward is currently the king of clinching and elbowing...and a lot of people consider him the top pound for pound fighter. Should he get out of the sport for breaking the rules? Regardless, I've been looking forward to this fight. I think that Postol will have to get a knockout to win, though. Arum wants to fast track Crawford to stardom.Comment
