Comments Thread For: Crawford Will Warn Ref About Postol's Excessive Elbows, Holding

Terence Crawford wasn't surprised by Viktor Postol's impressive victory over Lucas Matthysse. He predicted Postol would win that October 3 bout in Carson, California, which Postol won by 10th-round knockout. The unbeaten WBO super lightweight champion was surprised, however, by how much holding and elbowing Postol was allowed to do that night by referee Jack Reiss.

Tony weeks the fat bum will be busy pulling up his pants!

Tony weeks lets most fighters get away with rabbit punches and low blows.... The fat bum is always pulling up his pants!

I can't remember Aaron Pryor ever crying to the ref before a fight. Roberto Duran, either. Does anybody remember JC Chavez crying to the ref before a fight? Postol isn't doing anything different than Hopkins, Ward, or Mayweather. Crawford is sounding like a punk.

Postol is prepared for this. We already know the ref in in the bag.

And you two dolts would be whining your guts out if your fighter were fouled like that. Geez, give it a rest with that b.s.

Postol does hold so nothing wrong with Crawford making sure the ref pays attention.

Smart move by team Crawford. It's in the ref's head now.
