    What a shame. The iconic city that once hosted fights in Frazier vs Ali, Louis vs Schmeling, Marciano vs Charles, Holyfield vs Lewis, and Robinson vs LaMotta has been relegated to an over-regulated pussified cesspool.

        I don't see what the big deal is, Boxers should have coverage just in case something happens

        The article says It'll cost a avg of 350-450 per boxer. It's not really that big of a hit

            About time ...any type of serious head injury a fighter would suffer 50k would be gone in 2 days ...still I could never for the life of me think why a fighter wants to fight in NYC with all the taxes ;city state federal , fighters out 35% b 4 he steps in the ring...
