Wilder might be out until March 2017

    His local newspaper reports:

“Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge” is from the producers of “American Ninja Warrior” and like that show, contestants push themselves through a challenging obstacle course that tests their endurance, …

Might have both surgeries at the same time.

Damn. This gives time for Gennady to beat Canelo, Kovalev and hopefully make a run at HW in the last part of his career. I think Gennady has the power to carry up and Wilder-Golovkin would be huge, just think about it.

Isn't it weird that he made fun of him having hand injury pirior Povetkin fight and now suffers this?

Makes sense if he is out for the year because it will take a bit of time back to get in the gym and ready to fight so I would say March next year is a fair target.

The blessing for Wilder in this is that with 2 injuries is that the bicep injury takes longer to recover from but less important to his boxing career. Hand injuries become chronic because they are not allowed to heal properly the bicep injury will force Wilder to let that hand recover better.

I know it's not his fault that he broke his hand and tore his bicep, but it sucks that another year will pass without a Top guy on his resume.

This guy could've taken over boxing. Too bad
