I've never seen a full fight of his. I imagine I am of the majority.

I'd put Degale over brook....gold medallist, actually has fought decent competition as a pro...has some up side.

imo he may be the very best fighter p4p today out of the UK

DAMN, Gennady is fighting the #1, thats what makes him great. He fights THE BEST in every division. And after Canelo he is going after Kovalev.

According to BoxRec, the only fighter ranked lower in their respective weight class is Ricky Burns (#14 at 140), and Smith is only ranked one spot higher than Burns on BoxRec's UK P4P list. Based on resume, he has to be ranked in the bottom half. Smith's quality of opposition doesn't allow us to properly gauge if he's actually better/worse than the likes of Flanagan/Crolla/Haskins/McDonnell. How high one ranks him depends on how much one values an undefeated record and how much stock one places on the "eye test".

Lol how is he better than Crolla and Mcdonnell?

Mcdonnell and Crolla are legitimately right at or near the top of their divisions.

Selby and Bellew also have better wins than Smith.

Even Flanagan too, though he hasnt looked great since smashing Magdeleno.

Until proven otherwise I'd put Smith way down the list with the Haskins and Burns (fair play to him, but he is shot, and the current title he has is bogus)
