I think Postol has a decent chance to win.The odds makers have Crawford a 4 or 5 to 1 betting favorite so I don't see how it could be called a 50/50 fight. Crawford is expected to win and if Postol wins it would be considered an upset. Any gambler who believes this is an even fight should bet on Postol and get back about 4 times what they bet if Postol wins.
Well, you have a point about betting on postol will give you better returns. Especially when someone like me sees this bout as a 50/50 fight.

Postol is a very fundamentally sound boxer. I really see him as a Tim Duncan of boxing. He is not flashy but he gets the job done as he peppers his opponents until their faces are all messed up.

Still haven't decided on who to bet yet. Maybe in 1-2 more days, I'll be ready to bet.

What makes this a 50/50 fight is the fact that Postol is a better technician and Crawford has an edge in power.
You can't tell people not to talk about skills, then say "it's 50/50 so who is stronger? "
Crawford's power is what evens it up to 50/50.

You can talk about skill in this thread. I'm just saying don't consider that part when voting in this poll.

This poll was meant to know about chin and the power department.

You can talk about their skills here to bud.

          Thx for the clarification.
I'm beyond excited for these two. Though, as a big fan of both, I hate to see them fight each other so early.

If I had to pick, I'd go with the technical guy, Postol. Crawford is such a wild card though. He's like Pac or RJJ in that he's really unorthodox and you have to ponder, "How deep does that natural talent go?"
We generally know what Postol can do. Time to find out just how much of a prodigy Bud is. If he beats Victor in any kind of dominant way, I think he may be on his way to being a future great (which says how much I think of both guys).

Crawford has better power and Postol has the better chin. In my view Postol can win via TKO or by decision whereas I think Crawford can only win by KO/TKO based on the fact that he gives up rounds sometimes while adapting to a style and thats something that will cost him against Postol. I think Crawford will be losing the fight on point when he adapts and then decides to look for the knockout. Both men's punch resistance and stamina will be tested in this fight. I think Crawford wins but i wouldn't bet on it.

This are the type of fights that should be PPV. Even if it wont be a brawl it's two undefeated fighters fighting for 140 supremacy. I don't care if they are not stars they are the best and this fight is surely more important than a Canelo/Khan fight.

Yup both are stars. But one shall stand and one shall fall. This might even be a trilogy. That's how even this is in my eyes.

Yes, Postol is fundamentally sound which is what you look for when you bet. He doesn't make too much mistakes. Crawford does, but knows how to smell blood.

Still can't decide. This definitely is a rare treat for boxing fans.

Exactly, real boxing fans know when a really good fight is out. This is one of them. Light years better than a canelo/khan.

Thanks for visiting my thread Zaroku. You are always welcome in all my pre fight threads, but just a friendly reminder, pls don't forget to answer my questions in your thread. It's important that I get your feed back.

Thanks again for enjoying my thread.

Oh and your right 51/49 is more of a preference to the other guy by a hair.

                      Cheers!
