Great interview, Boone always keeps it real. Fought the best and knocked alot of top fighters down or out, says GGG hits just as hard as Kovalev. He has been in there with both of them.

      The haters will hate this.

Darnell Boone is such a unique fighter. He's constantly taking fights all over the country and world on short notice from MW to LHW against A-side guys who have everything in their favor. He rarely gets blown out and gives most everyone a good fight. Listening to him talk, he doesn't sound the least bit punch drunk despite all the heavy fighting that's he done over a long career.

Good to finally see this guy talk on video.

His story is bit mind-boggling, how do you give Ward & Kovalev the hardest fights of their career, arguably beating them both and never get a sniff of a world title? He knocked out Adonis Stevenson in 2 rounds too lol. Crazy.

Wish that video of Boone-Kovalev 1 was available.

Good video, he knows more than all of us over here that's for sure. I'm going to have to disagree with him I think Ward could out box Kovalev, of course I could be wrong but the way I see Ward wins by UD. I still believe with all respect to Golovkin he loses to Canelo by decision. I saw the Khan/Canelo fight in slow motion Canelo won every round Khan did land anything on Canelo, of course I could still be wrong but who knows, only god I guess lol

Boone is small for a MW... I have always wanted to see video of his three most interesting fights, Stevenson 1, Ward, and Kovalev 1.
And he gave Monroe Jr his "other" loss.

Knocked out Stevenson giving him his first and only loss, knocked down and hurt Ward, had a close fight with Kovalev the first time...

Great guy who always keeps it real, he knows what Golovkin is capable of, even picked him to stop Ward...

Man if this guy ever wins a title it'll be a true Cinderella man story... He really is a unique fighter I wish him all the best.

Out of all the guys currently fighting, he's the one worthy or most respect. He does everything and never complains. Fight on a 2 week notice? Sure. Fight 10 pounds heavier than his division? Sure. Drain back down? Sure.

Always respectful, always keeps it real. Great guy.
