but ye its alarming that he has been stopped numerous times in the amateurs but guess we'll just have to wait and see, he has alot of potential imo
He may just freeze up on defense. You guys are forgetting that three unanswered punches is a KO in the amateurs.

In the amateurs you can receive an 8 count over a clean shot that doesn't actually hurt you. If that same sequence happens a second time there are refs that halt bouts on a RSC (ref stops contest) and RSC is sometimes refereed to as a tko or KO and that's not correct.

The little film I've seen tells me someone needs to teach him to jab or get him someone who's really good in the gym around 160-70 and let him teach him hahahaha....... sheer power without a jab is a big problem in the pros.

Exactly, he is an aggressive fighter, so if he gets hit three times to hit once, he is going to get a protection count.

Getting stopped in the amateur is really common, if you get knocked down the fight will be stopped even if you are fine, if you get hit with a really good shot they stop the fight.

****ing nice, thanks for the heads up. And he is white (yes I support mainly white fighters because I can relate to them better) which is awesome to see fellow brothers rule sports! So he can be one of my fav fighters. Just like other races support and cheer for their own which is perfectly fine. I will look into him now!

not really. the fights are short and they hand out standing 8 counts if somebody is really getting tattooed.

sometimes you find that a guy who was stopped several times in the amateurs is chinny. sometimes it's just a young man who needs to mature, or learn things. i've never seen this kid fight, as far as i know. still, it's not a good sign if he was indeed stopped a bunch in the amateurs.

I hear this nonsense all the time. They said the same thing about that CW guy. There is only one GGG. Fighters with his amateur pedigree and, KO power and skill level don't come around often. Once in a generation talent.

Watch fights like the Rid**** Bowe vs Lewis fight, or the stoppages in london 2012, only a few guys where really hurt, most of the referees start a standing 8 count after 3 clean punches or just one hard shot, also if a person gets two standing 8 counts, the fight is over, even when the rules dictate that the fight is stopped after 3 counts.

THIS KID IS A MONSTER OMG. He throws every single shot with all of his body weight and power, I donlt know how he keeps balance so well. He reminds me on David lemuiex but a better boxer and stronger/better cardio.
