How can GGG secure the final MW belt (WBO)?

Is there anyway possible for GGG to become the mandatory for the WBO belt so either Saunders vacates or finally finds his balls to fight GGG.

GGG needs that WBO belt or he won't move up.

Moving up has nothing to do with the belts. He's happy fighting lesser fighters at 160.

Why fight the 168 title holder from Britain when you can fight the 147 title holder from Britain at 160?

I read that BJ Saunders will fight against Canelo (Frank Warren fighter, like Liam Smith), so Canelo vs. GGG could be the unification.

Yep, if the BJS Vs Canelo fight comes off, the title could well end up in Canelo's hands. Then we get a bit of a groundhog day situation.

They were talking about ESPN Deportes about Canelo fighting Saunders in December, not sure if that actually happens, but alot can change from now till December. Hopefully GGG calls out these cowards.

It's needs to be a combination of events:

Khurtsidze (maybe has WBO eliminator vs Lemieux on horizon) is made BJS's mandatory - high risk/low reward.

If Golvokin/Brook comes off a big success, Golovkin will be able to offer BJS a lot more money in the UK.



I'm not convinced we see Canelo/BJS. I think BJS is a bad match up for Canelo. They have about equal size, but Saunder's boxing ability could give Canelo a tough night. GB might want to test BJS vs Johnson first to see how he looks.

I dont think ******* saunders will be able to hide much longer after the brook fight, GGG's exposure in the UK will go through the roof.
I expect him to call BJ out as well, Saunders will HAVE to take the fight or he will be even more of a laughing stock than he is now.

The sanctioning bodies have to come together and establish a rule that a final unifaction has to happen when one person has 3 of the 4 belts...
or better the WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF belt should be considered as eliminators for a tournament that crowns the lineal champ.
