Damn that sucks hope he recovers good... I think the injury happened in the 3rd round... around the 2 min mark right before arreola tried to work the body later in that round.

wILDERS KO record is great but it is against boxing bums.

Give Wilder credit for the KO streak against bums but still impressive. Wilders footwork is horrible and Wild's punches come from everywhere but the Alabama ex-slave can punch hard and delivers results. America could care less about Wilder but a Wlad or Fury fight could change all that. Wilder appears to be very dumb but that familiar is most ****** boxers.. Fury is the champ till beaten and Joshua is coming on strong but Wilder is all America has accept it.

Amateur move by his corner......

Given his past injuries and against Areola there was no reason to use a punchers glove. He was going to win no matter what so why take the risk on the glove. He should have used a more padded glove. I'm not saying this because he go injured I'm saying this because it's a given what you do against much less opposition when you've have past injuries.

Wilder has broken that right hand more than once, & has titanium pins in it. He has good power, but he sometimes loops & slaps his punches like an amateur. That's likely when he is injuring it. That said, I noticed his right elbow & arm looked injured when he got into the ring. Arreolla should have targeted that arm & elbow from the beginning. I'm surprised that his corner didn't advise him to do just that.
