well why isn't bob pursuing these guys? why is he pursuing a third tier guy like broner? Since Roach trains Postol I just can't see Pac / Postol ever being made. Those two are Roaches top two guys. Broner would be a fun fight but I would much rather see Manny against the best at 47 right now. He is only getting older, and he beat Bradley in his last one who is a great fighter himself. Go after Thurman. Thurman.....maybe.....truly wants the fight. I'll take Pacquiao after watching a shopworn Collazo nearly finish Thurman with a body shot and then mysteriously retire from the fight. Go after Garcia, who has several very iffy decisions but it would still be fun to knock him off his fake throne.

Let's think about this logically. Garcia said he was offered 3 or 4 million. If he was really recently in negotiations, how could he not know whether he was offered 3 or 4 million. That is a huge difference. Most likely haymon came to him after broner turned arum down and said he could probably get Garcia the fight for around 3 or 4 million just to see if he was interested.

Top rank doesn't make any more in house matches than any other promotional companies. Remember the cold war? Top rank vs GBP vs pbc and showtime vs HBO. Boxing as a whole has been divided for a while now. Hopefully we see more fights between them but as far as top rank working with other promoters they seem to put on many fights that are not in house.
