Somehow this has gone from a dull 2 round fight in which 1 great punch (on of the few he actually threw) caused a guy to quit between rounds, to; now he's ripping jaws out...


Rigo is very talented but this fight was still a snoozer. Even the dramatic part lacked any excitement.

I dunno...the fight was so short, I don't think it had time to be boring. I thought Rigo was more active than he normally is. Usually he just stands there and waits for the opponent to throw a punch. This time they were at least apparently throwing punches -- perhaps without intent, but they were still throwing punches. Rigo landed that bomb in the second, and ****ens landed a good shot himself. A dud of a fight, but not exactly boring, in my opinion.

As for "ripping jaws out," Rigo is a shit talker. What every Spanish-speaker says is true. It would be great if he spoke English. Rigo can talk trash. And he can back it up. The guy packs dynamite. I've always known this. Rigo obviously doesn't go out of his way to fight, but watch out if he opens up. The guy will bust you up.

The good news for him is 122 has a lot of young undefeated contenders like Rey Vargas and Moises Flores who need to make names for themselves and aren't being protected and micromanaged. Plus Quigg has an L and is probably more willing now.

If he can just stay active like GGG the bigger fights will come to him. With Chocolatito at 115 now that fight is becoming more realistic. They weigh the same on fight night already and it seems Roman is moving up every year.
