Huge step up in competition for Davis. I know Money May is looking for another face of his promotion but damn I'm not sure Davis is ready for a Top 5 fighter in the division.

He has yet to even fight a former title holder. As for Pedraza I was hoping for a unification fight for him but at least he will return to the ring soon.

People criticize Pedraza, saying he's not so good, but when he gets a chance at a young lion, he's too good. He got his title in his 18th fight and nobody cried about him being rushed, but poor Verdejo, poor poor Gervonta. We need to let them keep beating on nobodies until they get better.
