Yes it's true.

This isn't just coming out because of the GGG fight. He's fought above the 147 limit about 15 times in his career.

He's had no problem making the weigh as long as Khan was a welterweight. Carson Jones was 3 years ago and he's made weight every fight since, that's 6 fights.
