    Explosive Matchup: Troyanovsky-Obara World Title

    Set for September 9th

"Over the last few months we have been awaiting an official announcement in regards to the IBF Light Welterweight mandatory world title title bout between unbeaten Russian champion Eduard Troyanovsky (24-0, 21). and mandatory challenger Keita Obara (15-1-1, 14) [小原 佳太], from Japan." - asianboxing.info

This is gonna be one hell of firefight and i doubt it goes the distance, both guys heavy handed, and Obara was robbed in his last fight where he drew with Walter Castillo.

I think Keita Obara is very talented and he has great punching technique to go along with his power so my bet would be he comes home with the belt, who do you think will win?

Troy just recently beat up Cuenca twice. Became belt holder at 140. Obara picked up OPBF and Japanese JWW belt in his 9th and 12th fights respectively. He's pretty good, it sure will be a barnburner.

I think Obara wins... call me crazy. I think it may go till very late even maybe a decision. I believe both guys have good beards so it will be a long fight.

Yeah i agree with you, Obara seems the more refined fighter and has better fundamentals and technique, Troyanovsky might punch slightly harder tho but he is more wide with his shots, but in the end i think it will come down to who can take the others shots better and i think that will be Obara, but the fight is being held in Moscow, Russia on September 9th so Obara has give his everything, cause in the Castillo fight he started late, altho imo he still deserved to win the fight, but he cant afford to start late and let rounds slip by in Troyanovskys backyard

Well you must not follow boxing, Troya is undefeated IBF champ at 140 and Obara has had a PBC main event in USA.
