Looking at both fighters current best wins..

Watching Brook vs Porter tells you all you need to know about Brooks "chances". Porter for the most part was able to cut off the ring and back Brook up and land punches. Brook nullified that by holding Porter a lot, but with a MW like GGG who walks around at 180lbs he won't be able to hold and will find himself cornered a lot. Brook lands clean punches but it's all standard he almost never counter punches.

After reviewing the GGG vs Lemieux fight Lemieux was able to land some good punches on GGG but just could not stand in there long enough to withstand whats incoming in order to be able to really land anything effective, he couldn't even get past GGG jab alone and at times GGG seemed to be toying with him.

I'm not so sure Brook could beat Lemeiux..
