Comments Thread For: Jayson Velez on moving for Alvarado wants Vargas, Salido

Jayson Velez (23-2-1) has gone just 1-2-1 over his past four fights. The 28-year-old Puerto Rican returns to the ring Friday at the Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino against gritty Nicaraguan veteran Rene Alvarado (23-7) in the main event of an Estrella TV televised card. Maybe he's right, Jason gets out worked mostly, but the slow part is a hard fix. I think he should develop his body attack, he doesn't box as well as some, and he's not a KO artist, but he never quits. Get mean, work the body, think long term damage.

Not a bad fight for Vargas to take next honestly, itd be a good fight for him in Mexico and he wouldnt be in such a heavy handed war.
