That is shocking. Is that since the Chilemba fight? If so it is highly reactionary.
Yes, I'd imagine it was only put up today. OK, I know I voted Ward by decision (just looking at who's in my sig and av you can see which side of the proverbial fence I sit on when it comes to boxing, I like it all mostly, apart from Leo Santa Cruz style slugging) but I really wasn't expecting to see 13% in for a Kovalev KO.
Not surprised after the almost universal poor, abit winning performance opinions of Kovalev yesterday. If you're for Kovalev this should get you sexier odds doe so theres that.
I still say this is a close 50/50ish fight despite the subpar Kov performance. I don't think Ward is as awkward & unconventional, which often leads to bad showings (one of Mayweather's worst showings of his career was vs Emanual Augustus), as Chilemba, so its not exactly an apples to apples comparison that Kov looking bad vs Chilemba = Kov looking bad vs Ward. I think Ward's chin is gonna get tested still like it never has & I thought Barrera landed a nice shot or two vs Ward. If Kov lands that same shot that Barrera did Ward is getting dropped &/or hurt.
The shocking thing to me is not that Ward UD is far in the lead, but that Kovalev KO and Ward KO are almost tied. Not that it's unreasonable, but that 2,000 people see it that way. I thought Kov's popularity would carry him higher.
