I should have been more specific I guess. Arum won't let anyone not with him, who has a chance to win fight Pac for less than $100 million. At least post ODLH. The third Marquez fight Top Rank was the sole promoter for the bout. GB had an option to match, but obviously no GB opponent could pay him $5 mill. JMM got the fourth fight because he was with TR. Also, it should be noted that the third JMM fight Manny was a heavy, heavy favorite going into. Pac was supposed to be one of the top two fighters, earning that recognition, in large part at Welterweight. JMM's only previous fight at ww he landed less than 10 punches a round. He was 39 years old, with no meaningful win above lw in his career fighting a top two WW and p4p fighter. No one gave Marquez a chance. No one. But from that fight on, JMM was with Top Rank. Pac might not ever fight again, and me and everyone who paid attention to the whole 5 year debacle knew Pac would finally fight Mayweather at the very end of his career. Arum knew the money was there and knew he was getting over a million ppvs in fights he knew Manny would win. So why would he waste that? Just look at who Manny has fought since he fought ODLH. They is rather well known and often pointed out. It was the smart business decision. That is how Arum got both Bradley and JMM to sign with him. By letting them know they would have a career payday if they signed with him and wouldn't if they didn't. Pac eventually was getting worn down and winning a senate seat Arum realized that was the time to make it. And they did. But don't act like Broner, Thurman, Garcia, Spence or anyone else has any shot of ever fighting Pac. If he does fight again it would be against Vargas or Crawford. Its not just TR either. I don't see Stevenson, the Charlo's, Wilder being put in dangerous fights with rival promoters. Arum and everyone else wants to keep as much money as they can. Its just Haymon has a lot more fighters and the fact that there are a lot of fights involving Pac that fans would love to see and would have loved to see in the past five years.Comment

Who has Manny fought since Ariza got canned that has power for a WW? Mosley who hadn't won a fight in over three years and was coming off a draw against a tv reality star? A 39 year old LW who landed less than 70 punches in his only other fight at ww. 69 total punches! In 12 rounds! Followed by Bradley with his 33% ko against 140 lbers. Another fight with a now 40 year old lw. Algieri, who was literally living in his parents basement at the time and had a whopping 8 kos. After literally being knocked unconscious Pac has fought a B or C level JWW in Rios, Bradley, and Algieri. And of course Floyd, who had zero legit ko wins since returning in 09. So yes, I do believe that a number of fighters have a chance at beating Pac at this point in his career. He still would be the favorite but any top opponent with ww power has a chance.Comment

Mayweather is retired. We don't need to hear another contentious uncivilized crap in our lives. People are sick of it. Hope to see this end soon.
