Eubank pulled out in the last second, you rather have GGG sitting out until December?

You have Wilder fighting a fat out of shape punching bag who only really won ONE fight out of his last SIX.

How do you think GGG starts new negotiations with some random MW when the date is in 8 weeks? How do you think HBO with their limited budget will even pay for a MW with no name?

You realize that fighting Brook opens the UK market and puts pressure on Eubank, Saunders, DeGale etc?

I'm a huge Golovkin fan but I don't like this fight.

Now, i understand some of the reasons for it and I know it will help him in the european market, blah blah blah...but I'm just not excited for the fight.

I will watch because Golovkin is one of the few must see boxers and so will all of you. I hope Jacobs grows a pair for December.

This is what I don't understand about ggg or his team. They settle. Regardless of what they have their eyes set on to start looking for opponents, it seems like they always settle for whatever falls on their lap. Regardless of the calibre of the opponent it might be. As far as backlash goes, I have no idea why they would think that when they were on a mission to discredit the "disrespect to boxing" that Canelo made while choosing khan.

Not sure I agree with them here on that logic, I mean maybe they could have got Heiland or Tureano Johnson and sure, while people would **** on it, at least he's consistently fighting the best middleweights, and that's all you can really ask for. On the other-hand, I see why they took Eddie Hearn's second offer in Brook - big deal in the UK, brings Golovkin to the UK market, I get all that. Just not a good fight and a crappy situation all around.
Heiland would be better but nothing to go crazy over. Tureano a little better than Heiland. I don't get it, I guess they might really be only wanting that big fight that seems to avoid them. I still think sticking to a MW, top 1-3 tier would be better than brook, but that's just me. Maybe a Khurtsidize fight would've been nice but who knows. It's just a very pointless fight to make. Especially at his state and what his talent shows us.

I'm just gonna call bullshit on team lilg. I actually feel bad for him cuz imo I honestly dont think ggg has any pull whatsoever on who he fights.

so out of 1,568 MW HBO wouldnt have paid for none of them. GOTCHA

What happens in December. I would have liked for him to not fight a welterweight. You know, the same exact thing you bashed canelo for
