This would be a terrible bout 4 Jacobs to take in any preparation for GGG , + Monroe needs 2 earn the shot, which he has not... if it happens, Monroe is gone b 4 round 8...

A better fight than the Mora fight from an action standpoint although Monroe is probably less difficult to actually fight.

Probably a better choice for Jacobs than Mora because it could at least be a fight he could shine in, but he is unlikely to beat Monroe as impressively as Golovkin so it really doesn't help him much I reckon.

Not terrible, but Jacobs really needs to be doing better because he could have fought Monroe months ago. There are not really a ton of great options for Jacobs just like any other middleweight.
