So, Kovalev fanboys, what to say now? If CHILEMBA could give Kovalev all of this trouble, then just imagine what horrible things Ward will do to him. It was already obvious before, but if it isn't obvious NOW that Ward will make Kovalev look like an amateur, then anyone who still believes that Kovalev stands a chance should be labelled and remembered as idiots when the fight is over for ever thinking anything as ****** as Kovalev having a chance in Hell at beating an ATG like Ward. Ward and Kovalev are at different levels.

Excellent fight for Kovalev to have prior to Ward. I'm picking Kovalev hands down to beat Ward, but idk if he stops Ward. It depends how well Andre absorbs Kovalev's shots.

This is like saying, "If Ward struggled so much with Bika, how could he hope to beat Kovalev?"

Are you new to boxing or just ******? Kovalev is a just a passionate guy who punches very hard. Ward is boxing at its absolute peak level. His speed and skills will make Kovalev look like a ******.

Look back in the thread, I gave you the answer. I'm not telling you to ricidule you, I just want to make sure that you look for things before you declare them to be missing. That's something children do.

Exposed how? Because he got hit with a few good counter shots?

Word has it Kovalev looked like this on purpose to secure Ward. Ward gets easily scared when seeing threats, as soon as Gennady never looked slow or vulnerable, he moved up immediately. He would have moved up or down today if Kovalev would have looked sharp.

To be fair, Ward didn't look great in his last fight either. Barrera actually landed a lot of jabs on Ward, he look easy to hit at times.

It's interesting, both Ward and Kovalev showed a couple of weaknesses in their fights that play right into each others hands.

I'd favour Ward slightly but he hasn't fought any good opposition in years and hasn't looked spectacular for that long either. Obviously he's still massively talented though.

Why would anything change? Chilemba is a top10 fighter with good defense and an excellent chin. That's exactly what he showed.

Hopefully we'll see how good Ward's defense and Chin are in November.
