Then all of the sudden the GGG fight gets announced and people act like Brook is a mediocre Rod Salka level Welterweight? Some even say that he is the equivalent of glass-chinned Giraffe Queen Khan't?

GTFO here with this B.S. From what we've seen Brook is a class above Thurman and would beat the sht out of Garcia. And common opponents have said he is better than Canelo, which was why Giraffe Queen Khan't ducked him like the plague.

It's mainly the GGG haters and Giraffe Queen Khan't fans at work here, trying to discredit both Brook and GG at the same time. It's absolutely disgraceful and I will fight this till the end.

Brook vs GGG = #1 Welter vs #1 Middleweight. The new Fight of the Century!
Lol, can't tell if this troll's mission is to boost Golovkin's opponent or if he's a Brook fan who is deeply bothered that his boy is about to go through an experience worse than getting stabbed by a ******.

Brook has never done anything to lead the pack at WW and, in fact, has been somewhat cowardly in refusing to make a relevant defence of his belt in 2 years. What's he going to do after this loss? Fight cans for another 2 years?

I think most people on this forum agreed that Brook was one of the best welterweights.I don't most people thought he was the best welterweight. That title was still up for grabs with Thurman, Bradley and up and comer Spence in the running with Brook. You have Porter beating Thurman but the official judges gave Thurman a ud win over Porter while Brook only won a split decision. Many fans thought Porter beat Brook just as many fans thought Porter beat Thurman. So Brook and Thurman both have a close, disputed win over Porter. Brook is surely one of the best welterweights in the world. He hasn't done anything to prove he is better than Thurman, Spence or even Porter. His win over Porter was close and not a clear, convincing win.

Well lets look at some examples of the past #1 WW/MW:

-2000 it was Mosley & Hopkins
          -2002 Forrest & Hopkins
          -2010 Martinez & Pac

I would have loved those fights & they would certainly enhanced the legacy of said MW's! So what is the problem? Its not like Brook is small is it? He's 5'9".. Golovkin is 5'10. Brook was going to mature into a bigger weight at some point too judging by his size & lack of interest of other WW's through fear of losing to him!

Narrowly escaping defeat against Porter to hide out in the UK fighting Kevin Biziers of the world doesn't make you the best Welterweight.
With that being said GGG doesn't even have a Porter level fighter on his resume.

I am a big GGG fan but I haven't lost my mind. If he is trying to change minds about this fight it will never work. Fight fans make up their own mind and it's damn near impossible for someone else to change their mind. Those who hate this fight and GGG for taking this fight will not be changing their mind.

I have no problem with this fight or GGG for taking the fight. He tried to get better fights with good middleweights Saunders and then Eubank but they wouldn't fight. He had no other good options so he said yes to the very high paying Brook fight in England. People on here may hate the fight but I think it will be a financial success and give GGG a career high pay check. He is, after all, a prize fighter who fights for a living.

Yes Brook won 116-112 on my card, and I'm confident in that score.

Porter was just too wild and too ineffectively aggressive, while Brook was sharp, crisp and landed the bigger, harder shots.

                      Clear cut to me.
