Kellerman will still be going on about how much bigger Kovalev is, even though he's actually smaller.

Max Kellerman "Kovalev only wins because he so much bigger than his opponents" even though he's NOT.

He uses that kind of rhetoric with Kovalev?

Yea, I have no idea why he'd say that about Kovalev's recent opponents...

I don't think it's "the reason" he beats them, but he was physically 'larger' in the ring. Everyone knows that and pointed it out. I think he beat them because he's highly talented and Pascal and Mohamedi were a joke, and Hopkins was 50 years old.

Photos can be misleading in determining size, depending on the angle their taken from.

Hopkins is about the same size as Sergey, who fought at middleweight in the amateurs when in his mid-20s. Mohamedi is a bit shorter, but weighs in the same. Pascal is thick and well-muscled, so not smaller at all.

Sadly, some people just don't want to admit Sergey Kovalev wins because he's GOOD.

Pascal is the former linear champion at 175, Mohamedi was Kovalev's mandatory, Hopkins was old at 49 but still a defensive master and had two belts.

I agree with Hopkins when he said "Kovalev is the real deal".

Every picture has Kov stretched out and the other guy standing closed. Of course he looks bigger in those pics. He's stretched, while they have a thin profile.

Kov is 182 for thus fight. 186 for last fight.

When Geale fought Cotto he walked in at 180 for a 157 CW.

People seem to think we have something other than weight classes, but Akov doesn't come in heavy compared to other LHW.

Spence cones in over 160 at WW. 162 last fight.

                Brook comes in heavier.

Kara comes in at 170 for JRMW fights, same as GGG does MW. Canelo is a full blown MW when he steps into the ring. GGG is more or less the weight of most JRMW.

But you can find picture making fighters look bigger than they are. It's easy work as Floyd would say.

Huge Kovalev fan and had no idea he was even fighting tomorrow. Thought it was next week. Main Events, you have to a better job making people aware.

And HBO isn't showing this live first in the afternoon before the tape delay? That's some bull. Why make the effort to travel there if you won't even broadcast it live? Now I have to stay off boxingscene and the internet all day? Come on man.

What time will it be live in the US? Maybe I can watch it on my Russian cable box.

Bravo on reading my post there.

If you think Hop and Kov looked the same size, you were probably the only one. I think every single person I talked to about that fight mentioned the size difference. It wouldn't matter if they were the same size though, as I said, Kovalev is highly talented. We can be honest about him being larger than many his opponents and still agree that it wasn't the reason he beat them. If Kellerman said it's "the reason", well, that's another example of why I think Max is useless...

I knew someone would come in with that, as they always do. You find pics then or, just WATCH THE FIGHTS. It's really a common sense thing. He was bigger in those fights. Why are people so insecure about that. Doesn't mean he has an unfair advantage, or that he'll be bigger than Chilemba. One guy is always going to be bigger, or stronger, or faster. This is boxing.
