Comments Thread For: Hearn: Brook Putting His Balls on The Line With Golovkin

Hearn Praises Brook - Gennady Golovkin was searching for someone to fight him for the middleweight title. Kell Brook was more than eager to step up for the challenge. Brook will move up two weight classes to face the fearsome Golovkin on Sept. 10 in a clash of unbeaten champions. The British fighter will have the hometown advantage at London's 02 Arena, but faces a formidable task against a fighter who is not only bigger but has stopped his last 22 opponents.

If Brook was fighting GGG for the same amount of money he was offered Vargas then I'd say he's putting his balls on the line. He took the fight because it's a life changing payday. Bottom line. Stop the BS

Everyone in boxing knows how good Kell Brook is. Talk to people in boxing they will tell you how good Kell is...fighters, trainers promoters.

Kell Brook is ready to explode on the world scene.

These guys know how good Kell Brook is, even Floyd Mayweather knows.

Brook is good people need to realise how good he really is, he may just well spring an upset, this isn't Khan vs Canelo. Brook has serious pedigree, but GGG should win by knockout.

Brook going to win and send shockwaves through boxing. GGG's team don't know what they're in for.

According to Eddie Hearn, Brook was not happy with the money he was getting to fight Vargas. He didn't feel he should be making less than Vargas. Vargas was getting paid $1.7 mil.

According to Eddie Hearn, Brook was offered the same deal Eubank Jr turned down. The deal Eubank Jr turned down was reportedly $3-$4 mil and PPV upside.

Don't be a fool. Have some pride about yourself

Hearn was really big on Khan's health issues vs Canelo.

Would be great if he addressed those same issues for Brook.
