    De La Hoya vs Cotto

How would this fight have went in about 2008. Prime for prime i think most agree Oscar wins easy.

Cotto probably knocks him out because Oscar lacked heart at the late stage of his career. He would have quit in his stool. And in 2008 Cotto was on the top of his game, a lot of heart and had the warrior mentality even when getting hit with plaster. And I'm Mexican by the way, from Guadalajara, Mexico.

2008? His retirement year where he looked atrocious even vs Forbes? Come on man. Lol.

That's like asking how 2005 Chavez Sr does vs Floyd or Manny.

Prime for prime I could see Oscar beating Cotto pretty badly. Oscar at his best is in another class than Cotto to be frank.

Depends on the weight in 2008,,, 154 Oscar beats him,, 147 it's cotto.

Prime vs prime, it's a good fight but Oscar stops him in the 2nd half

Think about how vastly the boxing world would be if Oscar actually fought Miguel Cotto, as most everyone wanted him to do. Instead he used the lame excuse that he couldn't fight Cotto because his wife is Puerto Rican! He then cherry picks 135 pound Pacquiao, after just moving up from 130 pounds, and the rest is history.

Imagine for a second. Oscar decides he wants to fight undefeated Miguel Cotto. The Margarito fight never happens. Cotto likely beats down Oscar. Pacquiao likely stays at 135 for another fight, perhaps against Nate Campbell before moving up to 140. The biggest fight in the sport now becomes Mayweather vs Cotto.

The entire landscape of the sport boils down to Oscar's decision not to fight Cotto and not to fight Margarito, who were the two guys the boxing world wanted him to face. Amazing to think about.

I just threw out a year maybe it wasn't the best.

What about the Oscar that fought Floyd vs Cotto from about that time.
