Funny part is you take away GG from the division and the rest are still not fighting each other. Jacobs is fighting Mora. It's a shameful division.

True! I believe it's between 8-10? That's EASILY 10-12 hours left to hit the buffet lines...

Which ia why top level guys like Ward and Lara, who have styles that may not beat GGG. But will definitely make him look more human. And in doing so, chipping away at his aura of invincibility.
I honestly don't believe anyone truly believes that Lara is any kind of threat to Golovkin. I don't even believe Lara believes it.

Ward on the other hand, beats Golovkin. It's a shame the states the sports in that fighters dare not risk their zero. Especially when I don't think losing to Ward would hurt Golovkin's career too much.

Brook has had trouble making catchweight of 150 in the past (see Jones), and struggled heavily. He is a massive WW. I do not think there will be such a large disparity in weight fight night. But, giving up 5# to a top 5 p4p is not advisable. I guess "keeping your belts" is the thing to do, now. Thanks Floyd, lamont P, Canelo, DGarcia, et al. What a sham boxing has become over the weight of a bowel movement.

I think GGG would destroy Lara. But, Lara is certainly a better test than anything GGG will have gotten in the ring with this year. Plus, its an interesting style match-up. Outside of power, GGG's ability to cut the ring off is what he's credited most for. And he does it well. Lara is the ultimate test for that particular skill set. Its easy to cut the ring off against guys that aren't natural movers. And are only moving because they can't deal with the incoming. Do I think Lara beats GGG? Nope. Do I think the potential is there for Lara to stink the joint out and make GGG look less than spectacular? Absolutely. Which is why Team GGG doesn't want the fight.

As for Ward, he comepletely dismantles GGG. The fight isn't competitive at all. And that's why thay fight will never happen. Ward's style, combined with the size and stregnth advantage exploits every weakness I've seen in GGG's game. Team GGG knowa it. And that's why we'll never see it.

"Wanting to see mismatches, on the other hand, is for fanboyism." GGG vs any 168 fighter is a mismatch they're all washed up. So who's the fanboy now?

If people want to call him the most ducked fighter in history, the greatest MW of this era, cool. But lets get on with it already. Start doing something of significance or stop shoving his supposed greatness down our throats. It'll be interesting to see his team's next move. No BJS, no Canelo, no Eubank. I suspect they'll wait around for Jacobs, but if they don't get that fight then what? Thats what i wanna see.
This fight is a joke but GGG IS ducked like the plague, you can't deny that. If he can't get Saunders or Jacobs next, he should take on Ramirez at 168.

The person acting like a MW fighting 147 lbers is better than fighting 168 lbers
