I think if Eubank Sr had a slight inkling that Brook was a real possibility to snatch the fight from their hands maybe then they'd have budged and accepted the terms offered by Hearn.

I mean who the hell even had the wildest thoughts that it would be GGG-Brook?

I reckon Sr thought GGG didn't really have any other options at the time with Canelo not wanting it, he probably thought he had Hearn backed into a corner. Not in his wildest dreams would he have thought Brook would take it. I mean sure Kell said something about wanting GGG a while back but who really thought he was serious?

Both Sr and Jr really wanted the GGG fight, that's obvious to anyone apart from the usual NSB ****tards who think any fight in the history of boxing which has never been finalised was due to a coward ducking the fight etc etc.

Sr just played his hand and Hearn's done him right over.

I don't really see the point in him complaining. The fight was there for him, and him and his team blew it.

Brook signed for the fight in 24 hours which tells me he was less demanding. From Hearns point of view, he will earn more money. From Golovkin's point of view, he will earn more money against a lower risk opponent.

Think that people are jumping the gun in blaming Eubanks. He probably does act like a diva but people are acting as though negotiating isn't a thing, and that instantly walking away from the table to fight an unproven Welterweight isn't telling.

Hearn isn't at fault. He simply wouldn't allow Eubank control ticket prices and things like that, which they wanted to do before they signed. Why should Hearn let them do that? They wanted the ticket prices to be double what Hearn charges for an AJ fight. At the end of the day, that's going to alienate fans and give Hearn a bad name as it's a matchroom event.

He offered them a standard PPV deal which the likes of Froch, Brook, AJ all had and they wanted more control over that and operation of the actual event. So Hearn give them a time limit as he has dates to secure, venues to book, TV schedules etc. and never heard anything back.

I can't really say i like Hearn that much, but i think he's been more than fair with them. He did the right thing, he's running a business and has so many people to keep happy and contracts with venues, advertisements, TV and everything, you can't keep waiting around for people.

Also, i have no problem with the Eubank's either. Eveybody is entitled to try and do things the way they want to but if they want to control the operation of the actual event and TV, then they should be their own promoters. Why even sign with a promoter if they want to do that? It makes no sense.

Hearn did his job. Eubank is only a british champion who fought at world level once and lost. He delivered a world title fight in the UK, with a standard PPV deal everyone else is happy with against one of the best fighters in the world. The blame is solely with the Eubank team.

Lets make things clear at least from my stand point, I'm not upset that GGG took the nice Payday and the opportunity to build up his International Fanbase in the UK which has the Best Fight Fans in the WORLD!

GGG was left with NO CHOICE, don't buy into all these Internet Boxing Champions who get bold when GGG is in the middle of negotiation but when GGG is looking for an opponent they're all quiet or they themselves have already signed on for a Mismatch.

We got to this point because Canelo, Jacobs, Billy Joe none of them want to fight, only person who claim to want to fight is Lara but even he doesn't seem all that serious at times. He showed up to Canelo Presser show that he truly wanted this fight, do the same for GGG if you're that serious

The issue and why people are getting on GGG is mostly because of his fanbase who criticize everybody else beside GGG. Some of you guys really need to SHUT THE *** UP! You're kind a messing things up for GGG. Stop being such Blatant Hypocrites and having high standards for everybody else but want to make exceptions for your guy. Boxing don't work like that! The bar has to be set the same for everybody, he can't be moved down for guys you like!

This is only 1 Fight, after this lets HOPE Jacobs, Billy Joe and Canelo will have grown a pair and is truly ready to fight him but I doubt it! Stop posting how "GGG Is Overrated" "GGG Is A Hype Job" when clearly his peers don't feel that way because if they did they all would begging to fight him

There's no doubt in my mind that Eubank Jr would have taken the GGG fight in a heartbeat.

Jr the fighter, not the team.

It's maybe better for Jr. to bide his time but sr. has got to realise what's what!

GGG. is arguably no. 1 p4p and will be too much for Kell...this is NOT Canelo!

I hope the fight makes enough money to force BJS to come for his retirement check in December.

They did not have to select Brook.

It is aboutfkntime that you guys held a grown man accountable for his OWN words/actions.

Always some bull**** excuse, always blaming somebody else SMH

You didn't buy that bull**** when Ward selected Brand, but you happily lapped it up when it comes from Golovkin.
