In Brook's own mind I'm sure he thinks he's the greatest to ever lace them up.

As for the fans.... well, I don't see anyone betting on him yet.

Well the fights set and we have to commend brook for taking the biggest risk possible...he never had to he could have pottered about down at welterweight and boxed Vargas or his latest challenger but he made the jump to fight a beast.....brooks a a lot more solid than Khan and is bigger & better than him ...but it's golovkin were talking here not canelo.....I hope brook does well and shocks the world and beats golovkin but I can't see it happening .....was triple ggg wrong taking the fight ...we've all seen how boxing is seen as a business now and profit and this is one of them....but one thing I will say is brook is far more warranted challenging golovkin....he's the best weltwerweight in the world , unbeaten and is a big weltwerweight ...as for Khan he literally did nothing to earn his fight with canelo....totally chinless...as for brook he's gone for the biggest opponent possible and this is moment of legacy fight.......good luck to him and bravo sir

When GGG fights Brook, they will have at most 5 pounds apart. Prob be about the same weight.

If GGG was to fight Ward, there would be 10-15 pounds apart. Even at 168 Ward rehydrated past 180. GGG to 170.

There is not a damn thing GGG can do to please the haters and he shouldn't try.

So Ward can aim for a guy 10-15 pounds lighter on fight night, but GGG can't get a guy who is five.

            Right on!

I would bet on him, not because I think he would win but because the odds would be ridiculous. No point in betting on GGG..

Are you are really saying that brook is as good as Mayweather just cause he's undefeated? Have you seen him fight do you know the level of his opponents? Brook and GGG are nowhere to being the best of our ere and they will likely not be remembered 10 years after they retire

I agree big respect to Kell but be fair in your comments. Brook is a naturally bigger man physically than May is. Brook and Spence are two big ww's and can move up and be competitive against the likes of a Golovkin much easier than a Mayweather could.

Brook started his career at 145 welterweight and can move up in weight because he has body to do so. May started his career at 131 lbs lightweight and sinse blew up to 145+ to fight as a welter. Expecting him to blow up another 15 lbs to fight at mw is a stretch. Brook has not moved up yet but he knows he can as he knows what he walks around at and how much weight he has to cut to fight at ww. May does not even have to cut weight as he walks around at his fight weight of 147 according to reports. So be realistic and stop hating on May for no reason.

I don't believe that at all.

Forget size, because being a " big " welter will not help Brook or Spence against Golovkin..... they would need a hugely elevated skill-level.

Brook/Spence have no chance against Golovkin, neither of those guys are big enough to jump to 160 and beat GGG..... but Mayweather's much better skillset, much higher ringIQ, and much more experience, would defiitely give him a much better chance to offset Golovkin's game.

Spence, and even Brook, will both be " available " for Golovkin..... Mayweather would not be.

And at 154, Mayweather outclasses Golovkin, and I don't think that Golovkin would be Floyd's most difficult fight either..... simply because Golovkin would not be the same fighter at 154.

When comparing a welter to a MW, it is about styles, not size...... because even big welters will still be too small for a seasoned middleweight. Ray Leonard beat Hagler because of his style.
