Lara should move to 160 for Jacobs.

You sound like Tom Loeffler back in 2014 when he was complaining no one wanted to fight GGG but when Lara called GGG out he told Lara to fight Floyd or QuillinLara claims he wants to fight GGG so badly yet his team never reaches out to K2 and Jacobs is on that " I'll see you in 18 months" deal so why not fight each other? At best Lara wins and gets that Mandatory fight with the WBA consolidating belts.
Lara probably won't fight either Charlo and Andrade is talking about Lara like he'd be happy to never fight him. Lara can waste away at 154 if nobody wants to fight him or he can try to get that big fight vs GGG that he seemingly wants so badly on Twitter..
What ya think?
@MarkEOrtega he is not approved by HBO and never on our radar, he should be calling out Quillin, if he wins, he becomes interesting

@MarkEOrtega Lara should call out Floyd, same promoter same TV and he beats both Khan and Maidana, should be EZ fight to make
— Tom Loeffler (@TomLoeffler1) February 10, 2014
@MarkEOrtega yes, same promoter same TV and same weight, makes more sense for Lara to call out Floyd

Even-though I'm with this line of thinking, there's no guarantee that Jacobs would demand or accept this match-up. IDK if I've ever heard Jacobs talk about Lara as a potential opponent. You'd think with all the "GGG ducking Lara" talk that Jacobs would say, "I'll fight the guy who GGG's ducking".
WBC #1 = Heiland
WBA #1 = Blanco
IBF #1 = Johnson
WBO #1 = Khurtsidze
Who on that list would realistically face Lara next? Definitely not Johnson as he's with GBP (i think), and supposedly Khurtsidze is going to be in an eliminator soon. Maybe Blanco? He isn't well known, so he'd probably be an easy fight to make on some Spike/Fox card. Blanco is built like Andrade.Last edited by kiaba360; 07-09-2016, 05:49 PM.Comment

LMAO.....so let me get this straight. Jacobs, who won't fight GGG for the biggest payday of his career, will fight Lara in a high, risk low reward fight. Terrible logic.
Ain't nobody taking risks for the hopes that ****ing Jacobs will not price himself out.Comment

Why would any of those guys risk their #1 position to fight Lara? All they have to do is sit and wait to get their title shot.Even-though I'm with this line of thinking, there's no guarantee that Jacobs would demand or accept this match-up. Blanco has been sitting on the sidelines for a while, and his height/reach is probably why; he isn't a big puncher though. I wonder who the hell his promoter is. I wonder why Jacobs doesn't fight him instead of Mora, maybe too high a risk? Has anyone ever heard any MW or promoter even mention Blanco, it's like he doesn't even exist.
What's the WBA's protocol for a titlist moving up to the next division? Do they automatically get a high ranking, do they have to drop their current belt to do so?
EDIT:Changed Weight. A rated boxer who changes weight categories is not assured any rating in his new weight category.
I'm not sure if there's something else that contradicts that statement, but knowing these sanctioning bodies, there probably is.Last edited by kiaba360; 07-09-2016, 06:19 PM.Comment
