His career was not one defining fight in one weight class, it was 17 years of fighting at the top level, winning belts, going through 5 weight classes, winning Ring titles, etc
Exactly. This is a great point.

What Brook is attempting to do is out of being impatient. He wants to prove that he is great now without putting in the work to show that at 147 and gradually moving up. Maybe he has some delusions of grandeur at best, and at worst he just wants a pay day. Seems to me he's starving for recognition and going about trying to get it the wrong way, which may have devastating consequences.

These guys are just looking for the shortcut. He wants it all too fast. He should put in that work.

Except Brook started his pro career at 140 and Floyd started his at 130. So Floyd moved up 24lbs in his career and Brook is about to have moved up 20. Believe it or not fighters can not move up an infinite amount of weight.

Would you have been satisfied with Floyd moving up to 160? Or would you have demanded he move up to 168 to face Andre Ward?

What Kell is doing is very impressive and he deserves all the respect in the world for it. But of course you have to turn it into a crybaby rant against Floyd

What do you base this on exactly? He's smack center in the middle of his prime.

Were they on a collision course? Did the public was claiming for this fight? With Brook competition has it prepared him for this?

No, no and no. This is just a business fight ala Canelo/Khan. The only idiots are the ones that are going to pay for it like that Canelo/Khan fight or that Pac/Rios fight

Yeah, until he loses n then everyone's gonna say he was passed prime. Nobody said DLH was past prime prior to losing to Floyd

                      That's not true.

He had several bad performances prior to the Mayweather fight and plenty of people said Oscar was getting old.

No one is saying that about GGG and he hasn't had any iffy performances at all.
