Larry, stop acting like you don't know what the context of those discussions you had with those NSB posters no one literally said Brook is as good as Leonard or Duran. You know that.

Most all GGG fans I've seen post today, including myself, don't like this fight at all. The difference here obviously is Golovkin tried to fight Canelo. He tried to fight Saunders. He tried to fight Eubank. None took the fight and k2 ended up taking Eddie Hearn's second offer in Brook.

No one here is saying this is the best fight possible for Golovkin or any of that, rather people are saying that after being rejected by all the other relevant middleweights they settled with Brook. Canelo, since you're comparing, actively chose to fight Khan when he could have fought anyone he wanted. He then dropped the belt rather than fight Golovkin, even though they made an agreement to fight Golovkin after his extension. If you want to be mad at someone, criticize Canelo, Saunders and Eubank and while we're at it, Jacobs for wanting 1.5 years.

I don't know what else was on the table for k2. I could think of several fights I'd rather see than Brook.

I like how you slipped jmm in there, like the comparison wasn't more ggg to mayweather than brook to jmm. There's not much difference between floyd vs jmm and ggg vs brook, regardless of where jmm was on the pfp list.

"Shameless" is the word that keeps coming to mind. A lot of Golovkin fans are showing integrity by calling this how they see it and with the same criticism they gave Canelo. Others are just being shameless and killing any credibility they may have had.

And honestly, I never knocked Canelo for fighting Khan. And Khan didn't get ran over right out of the gate. He did better than many expected. Brook has a better chin I believe but he'd be much better off he drew Canelo. Then again, if Khan drew Golovkin, yeah. There'd still be pieces of him on the canvas.
