I would favor Golovkin against Floyd at 160 as well. I'm giving Brook more than a fair shake, I think it's great that he's moving up fighting the guy every perceives to be the boogieman. Just because my opinion happens to be a loss for him does not mean that I'm sh.tting on him.

You prolly would favor GGG but you would respect the money may fight right?

It sounded like from your first post you were dumping on brook and the fight man

You misinterpreted then. Here, I'll clear this up for you: Kell Brook has some of the biggest balls in boxing and he's proving it by taking this fight. I applaud him for it and I wish him the best.

I may not be a fan of the fight itself, but I can't take anything away from the cojones of Brook

That's a good point. I don't think Brook is going into this so he can just get knocked out. He thinks he can win and surely there is an argument for that. He's got speed and lots of skills in there. This is boxing and you never can tell what will happen. It's not who I wanted to see GGG fight, but heck. No one at 160 WILL FIGHT HIM. So, what is supposed to do? Even people who say he should fight at 168. Who? Martinez is on the shelf with an injury and Jack and DeGale are fighting each other. So all I can say is, it should be a good fight and if it's not, well, blame the middleweights who won't fight the champion.

having a marginally better chin really makes no difference in this fight

brook might avoid getting brutally knocked out, the ref might step in and wave the fight off

the thing with khan is he didnt take a serious beating, yea he got knocked out, but he didnt get beat from pillar to post, he won rounds

the fear for brook is, he will not win any rounds and get beat from pillar to post and then eventually the fight gets stopped and this will be worse to me than getting knocked out with one punch

the more punishment he takes the more his career shortens

Mosley fought Rivera at WW and Willy Wise at 154 before Oscar. Plus, Mosley was a ridiculously big LW.

Mosley may of used the cream. I don't think even PEDs are going to help Brook. Respect though for at least challenging himself. Can't say that for most boxers.
