Me too actually. I don't think he will get credit for fighting a WW. If Canelo didn't get credit for the Khan win then I doubt GGG will get any for this. This is a better fight than Canelo-Smith hands down though. But to say this is better than Lara is absurd IMO.

He ain't getting much credit, i have to agree. But better than sitting on the sideline, he needed an opponent for a fight in 8 weeks, thought Eubank would sign but he pulled out. Brook jumped in, signed within 24 hours.

I agree Brook is a better WW than Khan but a WW nonetheless. Hey I'm watching this fight no doubt. I'd even say this is probably better than Eubank Jr because Kell is a bit more seasoned. Lara would be a more competitive fight IMO but this is an interesting fight. I've seen Brook badly hurt by Carson Jones and it seems there isn't a catchweight. I don't see any way Brook can avoid getting knocked out here. He might not be as slick as he was before the machete attack and certainly doesn't have Lara's footwork at this point. Brook has just been a KO machine since that leg injury. He needs that leg in this fight and can't be the hunter he's been against the likes of Dan, Bizier & Gavin
