Boxing Translators are the worst

Why is it when they bring a translator to find out what a fighter is saying or what the corner is saying they get it totally wrong. They leave out important things said by the boxers and the corner. In the Freitas fight, his translator seemed to need one hiself. He didn't even know what to say. Boxing translators suck!

I think they can't hear everything the fighter and cornermen are saying since translators have to deal with the ambient noise and other distractions.

TOTALLY agree. Everytime we get together for the fights my family and I constantly ***** about how bad of a job he does. Translators should translate advice that the corner gives, not the non-important or nonsensical stuff that goes on there. I think Malinaggi actually did a great job translating Gianluca Branco's corner during the Cotto fight.

Yep...horrible, people don't notice cause he makes up things that people want to hear or expect to hear, **** I wonder how much dude is getting paid.
